The Party
February 23rd, 2009 by radio1995
I am definatly more of a Toby when it comes to parties. I always like to have fun and mess around. I also like to play tricks when it comes to having fun. I can acutually be quite loud at parties.
In Feste’s song, it changes the mood of the scene, because it makes everything sound so sad and talks about a lot of love. The words said in his song reflect on the love triangle, and what is happening in their life now.
I like the joke in 3.1 where Feste and Viola are joking around with each other. ” Now Jove, in his next commodity of hair, send there a beard!” 3.1.38

Dancing and Carousing
February 12th, 2009 by radio1995
1. 1.3.95 “Then hadst thou an excellent head of hair.”
I think that this line is very interesting and funny becasue they are talking about hair and how it curls and how they can improve their hair. I find it funny how this can relate to the rest of the story and how Shakespeare links all these things together.
2. 1.3.34 “What, wench ! Castiliano vulgo; for here comes Sir Andrew Agueface. ”
I like this line because Sir Toby is making fun of Sir Andrew.
3. 1.3.46 “You mistake, knight. ‘Accost’ is front her, board her, woo her, assail her. ”
I chose this line because i find it very catchy and it draws the attention back onto the story well so that they readers don’t fall asleep.
I finally choose this line because i find it interesting how Shakespeare uses different languages in his text which shows that he was a very wise man and knew many different languages.

White ‘n’ Wild Holiday
December 15th, 2008 by radio1995
Are there any holidays that, in your experience, are connected with carefree fun and merry-making? What are they? Write about a holiday, or a time, when you were inordinately silly.
During one of my summer holidays my family and some friends went to the Czceh Republic to celebrate the new year. This is the time of year Germans call ——–. ——- is where everyone dresses up silly and we celebrate the new year.
We had lots of fun!
We took a long car ride from Germany into the czceh republic. Then we hired some skiing gear and set off to the resort. We took our cars and we had to put chains on the wheels because the roads were filled with snow and the snow was quite thick. It was very cold and we were all dressed very warm. It took us another few hours to get to a small hut where we could leave our cars locked up. We then walked the last 500m in the snow to the resort.
Although the resort was quite small it was great because it was right next to the ski lifts. It was like a private ski resort but it wasn’t very big. It had about 10 lifts which weren’t too hard to ski down. We even built our own jump and it was quite big.
New Years Eve came and we all dressed up and I dressed up as a girl.It was the time of year Germans celebrate as Fasching.
We were playing games all night and no one would mind if we messed around a bit and played jokes on some people. There was also some dancing and everyone joined in. We played a lot of card games and handed out some prizes to winners. We had fireworks to celebrate the new year and me and some friends stayed up until the morning and then slept until late afternoon.
This was really fun and many other silly things happened like having a competition where we would see who could jump the furthest on the jump and we would always crash
